Here is the weekly update on Italy's color-coded zone system.
On Monday, January 24, 2022, four regions will move from yellow to orange:
- Abruzzo (capital: L'Aquila)
- Friuli Venezia Giulia (capital: Trieste)
- Piedmont (capital: Turin)
- Sicily (capital: Palermo)
- Valle Aosta (capital: Aosta) also remains orange
Two regions will move from white to yellow:
- Puglia (capital: Bari)
- Sardinia (capital: Cagliari)
The following regions and autonomous provinces that were yellow last week remained yellow:
- Bolzano (autonomous province)
- Calabria (capital: Catanzaro)
- Emilia Romagna (capital: Bologna)
- Lazio (capital: Rome)
- Liguria (capital: Genoa)
- Lombardy (capital: Milan)
- Marche (capital: Ancona)
- Trento (autonomous province)
- Tuscany (capital: Florence)
- Veneto (capital: Venice)
The remainder are white.
