If you purchase an Intercity train ticket on certain routes for travel between June 1 and September 11, purchasing by June 30, you can bring your bike aboard the train for free.Â
During your journey, you can store your bike in carriage three, which has six upright bike-storage racks. There are also two charging stations for electric bikes. Â
The service is currently available on 86 routes:
- from/to Milano, Ventimiglia, Genova, Levanto, Monterosso, La Spezia, Pisa, Livorno, Grosseto, Bologna, Roma, Latina, Napoli, Reggio Calabria, Rimini, Riccione, Fano, Ancona, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pescara, Termoli, Foggia, Bari, Taranto, Lecce;
- from/to Roma, Ventimiglia, Orvieto, Arezzo, Firenze, Padova, Venezia, Trieste, Perugia, Ancona, Napoli, Salerno, Reggio Calabria, Bari, Taranto;
- from/to Torino, Asti, Alessandria, Genova, La Spezia, Viareggio, Pisa, Livorno, Grosseto, Roma, Latina, Napoli, Salerno.Â
Starting June 12th, the service will also operate on the following routes on IC 723 and IC 730:
- from/to Roma, Paola, Lamezia Terme, Villa S. Giovanni, Messina, Milazzo, Termini Imerese, Palermo.
