Ciao and welcome to lunedì! Another rainy day here in Rome. We learned last week that November is the rainiest month in Rome, so it's no surprise!
Let's have a look at some of the great things that happened in the past seven days here in our community:
- Jeffrey asked for some restaurant recommendations for celebrating an anniversary, and we created a list of local expert favorites that fit the bill: Romantic Restaurants for Couples in Milan
- Barbara, traveling from Singapore, got her question answered about Covid travel restrictions for entering Italy.
- I shared some photos in the Italy Foodies group from an oil mill, where over the weekend I had a taste of this year's olio nuovo. Just look at the gorgeousness of these simple bruschette: only olive oil and salt on slices of fresh-baked bread toasted in a fireplace.

If you visit Umbria during the olive harvest in late October-early November, you can participate in oil tastings too! There's an entire program of participating oil mills at Frantoi Aperti.
