Labor unions have called an eight-hour local public transport strike across Italy on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
In major cities, expect local public transport (buses, subway, trams) to be largely closed and not running during those hours, with few exceptions.
This strike does not include the national railway; trains will be running as usual. However, trains run by local public transport systems (such as the Roma-Lido run by Cotral) will be affected by the strike.
