Hello Italy! My name is Lizanne from California, and we're greatly looking forward to traveling to Italy again for a friend's birthday in Lucca in July. My daughter and I will be flying into Nice, France, then making our way to Finale Ligure, Rapallo, Monterosso Al Mare, and Lucca. We will be on the move within Italy from June 30 to July 8. We'd prefer to travel by train, and wonder if we need to buy tickets ahead of time. If yes, can the time be flexible, or do we need to reserve seats? I know this is the busy season. Also, if there is a rail strike, are the busses usually still running? Also is it a different train from system to arrive in Finale Ligure from Nice? Thanks so much!
