Hi all. FYI about booking train travel. We have been in Italy since April 24. When we first arrived, we had no trouble booking our train to Maiori. Since then though, the online system won’t confirm our credit card…the same one we booked with previously. We have had to book in person at each station since then. Very easy, with great customer service staff. Need to know which train you want and still can’t guarantee seats will be available, or at the same price…so far we haven’t had greater issues. Hope this helps a bit…and maybe Italia Rail can advise what to do to solve the card issues.
