I have tickets for FR 9420.
Specific trains aren't indicated prior to strikes as to whether or not they'll definitely be affected. However, you can check whether or not your train is one of the trains guaranteed to run on the day of a strike; click here. FR 9420 isn't on this list, but many trains still run in spite of the strike so your train may not be affected.

One thing I’ve learned when traveling around Italy is that trying to see too much in a short trip can take away from the experience. Instead of visiting several cities in just a few days, I prefer spending a little more time in each place.

If you’re visiting a city for the first time, walk around the quieter streets away from the main tourist spots. You’ll often find small cafés, local shops, beautiful buildings, and places that aren’t mentioned in every travel guide. You can also have fun experimenting with Scritte Particolari when creating personalized captions, notes, or messages to remember those little moments from your trip.

It’s also worth checking public transport options before you arrive, especially if you’re planning to travel between cities. Booking popular trains and attractions in advance can save a lot of time during busy periods.

And don’t forget to leave some room in your itinerary for spontaneous stops. Some of the best parts of an Italy trip can be the places you discover when you’re not following a strict schedule.

What is the best way to get from the cruise ship terminal to the St Peters area?
There are two main ways, and which one you choose will depend on whether you're more interested in saving money or convenience.

The first one is the budget option. Take the free port shuttle bus to the main port hub at Largo della Pace. From there, you can pay €6 to take the local Port Link bus to the train station, or walk to the train station (it's about one mile). Then from the Civitavecchia train station you can get a train to Roma San Pietro ($6 USD on ItaliaRail.com).

Alternatively, in particular if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage, you can book a direct transfer from the cruise port. These are available on our partner site ItaliaTours: here's the link. Sedans for up to two passengers cost $219 and vans from 3-6 passengers cost $249.

What's the name of the restaurant to get the aperitivo?
The place I mentioned in the webinar is Meccanismo, in Piazza Trilussa in the Trastevere neighborhood. Here's their website. And here's a link on Google Maps. The aperitivo is available daily from 6-9 pm.
