Ciao all! Looking for any recommendations/guidance for ferries vs bus/taxi while on Amalfi coast in first week of May. And….what’s your fav food spot there. Thanks in advance. Jeff
Ciao Jeff! For restaurants, I recommend Ristorante Savo if you are exploring Amalfi and enjoy delicious seafood. It is a beautiful 10-minute walk along the coast.
If you find yourself in Positano I recommend my all-time favorite
Ristorante Bruno. They serve an unbelievable lobster with spaghetti and the view from the table is breathtaking. Another delicious spot in Positano is Da Gabrisa. Again, yummy food (although smaller portions) with an incredible view.
I don't actually have a specific restaurant recommendation, although I think my colleague Grace Fuller might know of some good places to eat on the Amalfi Coast.
However, I can suggest a couple amazing tours we offer on the southern coast. (I'll copy my colleague Danielle in case you have any further questions on these!)
One which is an Amalfi Coast day trip by high-speed train from Rome, if you weren't planning to stay overnight and are looking for a full guided experience that includes a limoncello tasting! It's a train and boat combo and explores Positano and other destinations.

There's also a foodie tour of Naples, if you want to do authentic street food!
