Hi. My name is Linda and I am new to the community. I am looking forward to getting some inspiration for our trip to Italy later this month. I would like to ask a question please about booking a night train from Milan to Sicily. I have been trying to book a 2 berth sleeper compartment for my husband and I but it is only offering 2 separate compartments, presumably because of Covid restrictions. I completely understand that you don’t want to be in a compartment with a stranger but we do not want to be in separate compartments and this is also doubling the cost. Is there any information about when this situation might change please or is there any way to book one compartment for 2 people? I would be most grateful for any advice. Many thanks.
