I had been planning on taking the train from Trieste Centrale to Venezia Sta Lucia after our cruise ship disembarks at the Trieste cruise port until someone mentioned that having luggage will make the train ride challenging. So a couple of questions: (1) Is it easy/challenging taking the train with big luggage? There are three of us - each with luggage. (2) Is Trieste Centrale walking distance from the cruise port?
