We are traveling to Italy for the first time ever!! We land in Florence on October 7th. We’re in Florence for 3 nights, Tuscany for 3 nights, then staying 1 night each in Bagnoegio and Saturnia and ending with 2 nights in Rome. We’ve booked high speed train tickets to visit Venice on the 9th. Do we need to book things we want to do in advance? For example, we want to do a gondola ride in Venice and I would like to tour the Vatican in Rome.
