Some of our members have asked where to eat Christmas dinner in Rome, since many restaurants are closed on Christmas or only open for Christmas Eve dinner or Christmas day lunch.
We contacted several different restaurants to find out which ones are open for dinner on Christmas day, and here are the ones we found for 2021. Make reservations well in advance.

Hummustown (Middle Eastern cuisine)
Run by Shaza Saker, a Syrian-Italian who lives in Rome and works for FAO, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. The Hummustown project is a way for refugees to earn a living by sharing their Syrian culture through food, and the money they earn through catering will go to their project to open a restaurant. Shaza said they would be happy to prepare a dinner and deliver it on Christmas. She emailed me an English menu that I'm posting here.
